Male, 11 yrs

Child’s Story:

Camden was born not breathing. After he was resuscitated, he was sent to the NICU where the nurse thought she witnessed him have a seizure. He was then placed on a cooling blanket for 5 days. This put his body in a hypothermic state in order to help limit the damage that might have occurred when he was born. We were given a vague diagnosis after he was discharged at 12 days old, and didn’t really know what to expect. He has grown into such an amazing young man! He has proved us wrong every step of the way and continues to do so with all he is able to do given his limitations.

Video games, playing on his Ipad, watching baseball, football, and soccer, playing baseball on the special needs team,  going to cub scouts, and swimming whenever he can.
